OK, so I’m certainly not complaining about the 70+ degree days we’ve been having (and, according to the weatherman/woman, will continue to have) here in Boulder.
It’s just that my coworker and I picked a lousy time to have our “Fuzzy Outfit Contest,” wherein we see for how many consecutive days we can wear a different fuzzy, fleecy, cozy piece of clothing.
Alas, the bike ride to work is getting toasty!
It’s kind of funny that it’s the middle of January, and I’m pissed because it’s cold outside.
Sigh.
I sure do love Boulder.
Don’t you just love the smell of freshly whacked weeds?
I don’t know why I thought leaving a pair of wet athletic shoes in a fully-sealed car on a hot, summer day might be a good idea.
It wasn’t.
I love flipflops. They make it impossible for someone to sneak up on me.
I just had to move my seat at the coffee shop because the sunlight reflecting off of an SUV in the parking lot was blinding me.
I figured the potential for a tan wasn’t worth the lasting effects on my vision.
Sigh.
I love summer, and I love Boulder, and I love coffee shops.
Oh how I hope I can earn money with this freelancing thing …
