Yesterday, about 15 minutes before heading into church, Mike got ACDC’s “Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap” song stuck in my head.
Most of the time Mike is a great influence. Most of the time.
My husband was perplexed the other day when he found mouse droppings in our house.
I was far less perplexed after noticing a significant collection of Cheese Nip crumbs scattered under the kitchen table.

Walking home just now I overheard a lady hollering at her dog, Buddy, “Not that way! No! Not that way! Go around the fence, around the fence.”

And second, I’m pretty sure that “that way” isn’t commonly translated into the canine vernacular.
I’ve decided that I’m going to start calling a lot more of my food “homemade.”
To be honest I homemake a lot of my food. Sure I homemake it in my microwave, but considering my microwave is in my home, I think I can get off on a technicality.
I’ve had this stuck in my head for the past four days. (Screams and all.)
