Yesterday during a morning date at a local breakfastery that shall remain nameless, Mike realized that he (or perhaps the chef) didn’t know the difference between eggs over easy and eggs over medium.
When his “over medium” order came out too runny for his liking, he decided that from now on he’ll opt for “eggs over really difficult.”
We’ll keep you posted on how that works out.
I always thought over easy eggs where when they were cooked covered so that there’s some white over the yolk…. But I have no real culinary knowledge.
Neither do I, to be honest. I think that Mike looked it up and the yolks are supposed to get progressively harder … apparently the chef didn’t have enough culinary knowledge either. 🙂
